Introduction

Hello Belle Creek Parents and Guardians,

My name is Jessica DeSandoval and I am the new School Counselor at Belle Creek. 

My role at the school will include helping to support your child with regulating emotions, learning social skills, and applying academic achievement strategies. I believe all students have the capacity to be successful. I am excited to meet the students and families and be a member of the Belle Creek community.

I was born in Upper Michigan but have lived in North Denver and the surrounding areas since I was two years old. I love living in Colorado, mostly because I can enjoy many events in the city and also go hiking in the mountains. I also enjoy dancing, reading, and spending time with family. I have three children; one in college, one in high school, and one in middle school. I also love animals and have three cats and a dog. Before getting my degree in school counseling at Adams State University I worked for 7 years as a paraprofessional in special education and 15 years in community mental health.
